What do you see in the trees around you? Can you hear the song of a maiden? Or the chirping of thrushes......
This painting was a spontaneous project, the only idea pre-planned was the desire to paint the image of a girl looking afar, with a pure, innocent demeanour. I started with her eye before continuing with the rest of the page, and the strokes came spontaneously, inspired by Nature. Each time I applied a stroke it was a challenge to make it as detailed as possible.
This painting was hence a learning journey by itself!
This painting was sold in 2020 to raise funds for The Singapore Red Cross Society.
